Me-Made-May'14

All accept the bottom left have nothing to do with Me-Made-May, I just like the pictures. Top left was breakfast last week, Top right is a Wee Ambrosia I knitted for a friends little one and the bottom right was a happy mail day from Quince & Co.

'I, Caitlan of indie-stitches.blogspot.com.au, sign up as a participant of Me-Made-May '14. I endeavour to wear at least one me-made item of clothing each day for the duration of May 2014'

I am pretty excited, my first go at me-made-may! I have been following sewing blogs for a couple of years and have really enjoyed watching others take part in this wonderful initiative.  I’ve been happy in the past watching from the sidelines but this year I feel different, perhaps it’s that the need to wear mostly me-mades these days is getting stronger and stronger and this is just the type of thing that will help me on my way.

What is Me-Made-May you ask?  It is a challenge that has been taking place for over four years and involves self-stitchers making a pledge to wear me-made items throughout the month of May. You can wear as many or as little me-mades as you like, there are no rules around your pledge, it is completely your own.  It doesn’t have to be just items that have been sewn, it can be knitting or crochet, just anything you’ve made yourself. For more details about the challenge or to sign up head over to ‘So, Zo… What do you know?’.

Wish me luck!
